Featured Advisor Hayley Nyeholt
Hayley Nyeholt is interested in national and international legal solutions to global climate change and pollution control. She earned her JD from the University of Michigan Law School in May 2010, and is the 2010-2011 clerk the Honorable Judge John Feikens of the Eastern District of Michigan. Prior to law school, Hayley worked on a Michigan citizens’ water rights campaign, attended and participated in a number of the meeting of the parties of the UNFCC, and helped found the Tropical Forest Group. During law school, she was a clerk in the general crimes and special prosecutions units of the US Attorneys Office for the Eastern District of Michigan, a member of the Environmental Law Clinic in association with the National Wildlife Federation Great Lakes Regional Office, co-chair of the Environmental Law Society, and a summer associate at Perkins Coie in Seattle, WA.
